.Windy conditions will develop with overlapping low relative
humidity values Saturday across the Columbia Basin and Eastern
Wallowa County.

The National Weather Service in Pendleton has issued a Fire
Weather Watch for wind and low relative humidity, which is in
effect from Saturday morning through Saturday evening.

* AFFECTED AREA...Fire Weather Zones 691 Lower Columbia Basin of
Oregon, 691 Lower Columbia Basin of Washington and 693 Canyon
Grasslands of Wallowa County.

* TIMING...From Saturday morning through Saturday evening.

* WINDS...West 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 40 mph.

* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 20 percent.

* IMPACTS...Any fire that develops will catch and spread
quickly. Outdoor burning is not recommended.
